Whalen Family Donates Rockville Property to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area (BBBSNCA) is proud to announce a generous property donation from the Whalen family of Rockville, Maryland. Through TJ & C Associates, LLC managed by Investment Properties, Inc., the family has donated two commercial condominium units located at The Victoria Condominium in Rockville Town Center.
The donated units, located at 20 Courthouse Square in the City of Rockville, represent a significant investment in the future of mentoring across the region. This gift will help strengthen BBBSNCA’s ability to serve children and families throughout the National Capital Area, including Montgomery County, while further establishing the organization’s presence in the City of Rockville.
“On behalf of our Board of Directors and the young people we serve, I extend our sincere gratitude to the Whalen family for their extraordinary generosity,” said Michael Sanzi, President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. “This remarkable gift will create lasting value for our organization and help us continue empowering young people through mentorship for years to come.”
The donation reflects the Whalen family’s commitment to investing in organizations that make a meaningful difference in the community. Their support will help BBBSNCA continue its mission of creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
For more than a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped young people realize their full potential by connecting them with caring adult mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and support. Through these relationships, youth gain confidence, improve academic outcomes, and develop the skills needed to succeed in life.
BBBSNCA is deeply grateful to the Whalen family for their partnership and belief in the life-changing impact of mentorship.
